Michael Adam

Michael Adam is an entrepreneur, technologist, and author working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, defense, space, and mission-critical systems. As CEO of ADAM Aerospace and a PhD candidate in Mission-Critical Technology and Security, his work centers on the trust, verification, and governance challenges created by increasingly advanced technology.

That real-world perspective informs The God Function, a thriller series exploring what happens when artificial intelligence begins uncovering questions humanity has been asking for thousands of years. Michael holds a BA from Vanderbilt University, an MBA from emlyon business school, and professional certificates in artificial intelligence and machine learning from MIT.

Author of The God Function

Why I Wrote The God Function

I wrote The God Function because my professional work has made me increasingly aware of how much modern life depends on data we often assume is accurate, authentic, and trustworthy. As a specialist in mission-critical data verification and provenance, I spend much of my time thinking about what happens when unverified information begins influencing increasingly autonomous systems, national security decisions, and artificial intelligence operating at extraordinary scale. At the same time, I have always been fascinated by spirituality, religious history, consciousness, and humanity’s oldest questions about whether there is something greater—or more intelligent—beyond us. This series brings those worlds together: advanced AI, geopolitics, ancient knowledge, faith, and the possibility that as intelligence grows more powerful, it may begin asking the same questions humanity has wrestled with for thousands of years.

ADAM House Publishing is building a home for authors whose work explores the forces shaping humanity’s future.

We are interested in ambitious fiction and idea-driven work that engages with technology, intelligence, science, power, human resilience, philosophy, consciousness, and the unknown.

We are especially drawn to writers who ask difficult questions, challenge conventional assumptions, and create stories or ideas that stay with readers long after the final page.

If your work aligns with that philosophy, we would like to hear from you.
